So now that I actually have spare time, I've started reading again. I just finished Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.
First off let me say that I really enjoyed it. It was odd enough that couldn't put it down because I just wanted to know what was going on (!) but not so weird that I couldn't enjoy it. However, it is the beginning of a series!! I can't tell you how much that annoys me. I swear there was one summer when every, and I do mean every, book I read was the start to a series. I like series, I do. But I like to read them all at once. I hate having to wait for a book to come out. I'm just not that invested in the story line or characters yet. I didn't even get into Harry Potter until the 4th one was already out. Then, I was four books in and was super invested.
Whatever happened to writing just one book??!!

What is this book? I've never heard of it and I need something new to read. I read something borrowed/something blue. Loved something borrowed but I wish I could get the hours of my life back that I wasted reading something blue.
A) you should totally read it; it was good and B) you should also totally sign up for the Warrior Dash! My friends got a house for the weekend so we would have a real place to stay and everything I'll email you with more details :)
i swear everything is a series now, but then i get totally adicted and have to have them all. i'm going to have to check this out.
